Pick one: Be the Kick Butt Person you want to be…

Kick: Pick one and use it as a motto today or throughout the week.
(Thanks Eva – to read more about this message, see the bottom of this post)
‘Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet may be fighting some
kind of battle.’
The best vitamin for making friends … B1.
If you want your dreams to come true, you mustn’t oversleep.
The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.
The heaviest thing you can carry is a grudge.
One thing you can give and still keep…is your word.
You lie the loudest when you lie to yourself.
If you lack the courage to start, you have already finished.
One thing you can’t recycle is wasted time.
Ideas won’t work unless ‘you’ do.
Your mind is like a parachute … it functions only when open.
The 10 commandments are not a multiple choice.
The pursuit of happiness is the chase of a lifetime! It is never too
late to become what you might have been.
A sharp tongue can cut your own throat.
Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat
you right. Forget about the one’s who don’t.
Believe ‘everything’ happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.
Friends are like balloons; once you let them go, you might not get them back. Sometimes we get so busy with our own lives and problems that we may not even notice that we’ve let them fly away. Sometimes we are so caught up in who’s right and who’s wrong that we forget what’s right and wrong. Sometimes we just don’t realize what real friendship means until it is too late.
It is going to be a great week. This is an email I received this morning from my friend Eva. Eva is a helicopter pilot I met in an aviation program a few years ago. She is healthy and active and goes after her goals with passion and dedication. Right now she is living out her dreams of flying helicopters all over the world.
I receive hundreds of e-mail messages a day. Like most of you, I immediately delete most messages and rarely, if ever, forward the tons of cute/info/angry/motivating e-mails I receive. This one was different. It isn’t selling anything, an inspirational story (which I love) or one of those annoying ‘send this to ten of your friends or you will receive bad luck’ types of message. It was just a bunch of random quotes to make you think about how our words and actions make a difference every single day. I even made one of them today’s Kick in the Butt (see left upper corner) . Thanks for spending time on my site. Check back daily to get your “Daily Kick in the Butt’ and see more of our our SHE and Active Health Network Experts introduced this week.
