Summertime Blueberry Power Smoothie

Chef Laurie – Wellness Chef and one of our SHE experts, shares one of her favorite ways to have Endless Energy and stay slim this summer and all year long.
Summertime Blueberry Power Smoothie
1-cup plain nonfat yogurt or soy milk
1 cup fresh or frozen Blueberries
½-cup pomegranate Juice
2 tablespoons almond butter
1 Tablespoon ground Flax seeds
¼-teaspoon fresh grated ginger
Combine all ingredients in a blender container and whirl until smooth.**
Makes 2 servings, each containing approximately: 215 calories & a only trace a fat
25 gm. Carbohydrate
58 mg. Sodium
trace of cholesterol
12gm. Protein
** Double/ triple this recipe and keep in plastic containers in the refrigerator to grab and go for the next day.
